Thistle & Poppy Resale Agreement

Please read the agreement below carefully before booking your resale drop-off appointment.

By booking a drop-off, you agree to the following terms:

Intake & Evaluation

Items are reviewed and selected based on condition, quality, seasonality, materials, and alignment with our shop’s aesthetic and values.
We do not sort or price items at the time of your appointment. Items will be reviewed within 7 days, and you will receive a notification via text or email once your items have been processed.
If you opt to receive cash, you’ll receive 35% of the resale price via Venmo or check. If you choose store credit, you’ll receive 50% of the resale price in credit valid toward secondhand items only.
All pricing decisions are made at Thistle & Poppy’s discretion. We do not offer itemized breakdowns or price negotiations.

Unaccepted Items

You may choose to pick up any unaccepted items or have us donate them on your behalf.
If you wish to retrieve your unaccepted items, we will hold them for 14 days following your notification. We’ll send two reminders. After 14 days, all remaining items will be donated to a local nonprofit.
If you check “donate unaccepted items,” we’ll donate any items we don’t take without holding them.

Store Credit & Temporary Location

Please note: Thistle & Poppy is currently operating in a temporary location, and we may relocate or close within the next year.
In the event of a move or closure, store credit holders will receive 30 days’ notice to redeem or convert any credit to cash. After 30 days, unused credit will expire.

Communication & Responsibility

You agree to receive updates and notifications using the contact info you provide at drop-off.
Thistle & Poppy is not responsible for missed notifications due to spam filters or outdated contact info.
While we care for your items thoughtfully, Thistle & Poppy is not liable for loss, theft, or damage due to accidents, natural events, or unforeseen incidents during the review or resale process.
By booking an appointment, you confirm that all items you bring belong to you or that you are authorized to sell them on someone else’s behalf.
