Thistle & Poppy is a family concept shop founded in 2022 with a focus on sustainability and heirloom goods. We showcase brands that have sustainable & ethical production and labor practices and carry a curated selection of vintage and pre-loved goods. In our shop, you will find children's knitwear alongside overalls from the 1990s, vintage denim, wooden toys, apothecary items, and clothing/accessories for grown ups. We strongly believe that buying secondhand allows us to reduce our impact on the planet while discovering one-of-a-kind pieces in the process. We also believe in intentionality when purchasing new and that objects should last. We strive to bring these values to the goods we carry. Thistle & Poppy is an online shop based in Seattle -- you can catch us at various pop-up markets around the city or order online for free Seattle delivery.

About Cat
Cat is the founder and owner of Thistle & Poppy, a family concept store with a focus on sustainability and heirloom goods. She is the mother of two young kids, a nature lover, an avid thrifter, a craft dabbler, and an advocate for sustainable consumption.
Trained as a historian and educator, Cat taught high school history in California and Washington before having her first child in 2016. After taking family leave from her teaching job, she decided to pivot and become a full-time stay-at-home parent. With baby in tow, Cat rediscovered her love of thrifting and grew passionate about giving secondhand clothing new life and love. She started selling vintage and relove children’s goods online in 2019 while envisioning a small shop that showcased secondhand goods alongside a curated selection of sustainable new toys, clothing, and housewares. In June of 2022, Cat launched Thistle & Poppy and is excited to share her love of sustainable goods with the world!
